We deal in special guitars, and this is another kind of a special Larrivee, the Larrivee OM-09 Madagscar Rosewood,Larrivee Custom OM-09 with one of a kind upgraded with Madagascar Rosewood. Canadian Sitka Spruce Top, figured Maple Binding, bone nut, saddle, and ebony bridge pins. All Gloss finish with Abolone Rosette, Larrivee Tuners. Madagascar Rosewood is about the closest you can get to Brazilian rosewood, it responds in a similar way, with similar dynamics and similar powerful response, with a rich deep bass tone that takes it a step further than idian rosewood, and a treble and midrage response that is more than just satisfying. Other features include luxurious appointments like beautiful figured Flame Maple Binding, 650mm (25.5") scale length, Abalone rosette and in this case- no pickguard, Ebony bridge with compensated bone saddle, Mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard and micro-dot inlays, ebony headstock overlay with silver outlines, 45mm (1 3/4") Width at the nut, 57mm (2 1/4") stringspacing at the saddle, other features include Chrome tuners with ebony buttons, Larrivee Deluxe arched case.

Sound:Madagascar rosewood will get you closest to the sound of Brazilian, together with Hondurs rosewood and Dalbergia Spruceana, mostly referred to as 'Jacaranda' and even harder to distinguish from brazilian. And at a much lower price! With brazilian it shares the mysterious depth & the impressive overtones. Each note is filled, and carries your intention just a bit further than common Indian rosewood would have done, the complexity and richness are simply a bit more. Te beautiful set of straight grain Madagascar is considered of better tonal quality than the wild grain quality.

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only.
