Magnatone / MKIII / 1957 / Blonde / Guitar For Sale

Considered by many to have been the father of the electric guitar, Paul Bigsby’s  influence can be seen throughout the cannon. Having decided to concentrate on his vibrato system, he took to designing guitars for Maganatone in the 1950’s. This Mark three featured a through neck construction with a single coil pickup, aluminum nut and bridge and some unmistakable Bigsby design flourishes.

This guitar is in great condition with hardly any signs of use. There is a minor superficial crack near the heel but this looks to be solid and the guitar stays in tune. There are a fww scratches and bumps here and there but nothing too drastic.

The neck too is in equally good condition with no sign of wear to the fretboard and plenty of ife left in the frets.

Plastics and hardware are in great shape too with very little signs of wear.

Electrically everything looks correct and undisturbed.

The guitar comes with its correct softshell case.

The guitar has a wonderful clarity and a fullness thats begging for some lush reverb and ringing chords. Considering its intention as a student guitar, there is so much on offer here.

Such a rare find, these do not come up for sale very often.
