Mano Guitars – “The Iconic” Custom #042

This instrument is a custom variation of my original design “The Iconic.”
While it follows the same core philosophy of the model, this particular build introduces several unique details that make #042 its own individual instrument.

The body is crafted from one piece of African mahogany, delivering a warm and resonant tonal foundation. It is paired with a padauk neck and an Ebony Macassar fretboard, creating a strong, articulate response with excellent sustain and clarity.

The neck features a comfortable Custom C profile with a 12” radius, designed to feel natural and balanced whether playing chords or lead lines. The fretboard is fitted with custom luminlay inlays, providing excellent visibility in low light environments while adding a distinctive visual touch.

Tonally, the guitar is equipped with a Rio Grande HSS pickup set (HalfBreed model), offering a wide palette of sounds from classic single-coil clarity to powerful humbucker drive. The instrument is completed with a custom aluminium bridge with titanium T-saddles, enhancing sustain and tuning stability.

For reliable tuning and a classic aesthetic, the guitar is fitted with Gotoh vintage-style locking tuners.

Each Mano guitar is built with careful attention to detail, combining premium materials with precise craftsmanship to create an instrument that is both expressive and dependable.
