Valuable Hakaranda period D-35 arrives! !

The D-35, which has the first three-piece back body of Martin, was prototyped in 1965 and officially announced in '66. At the beginning of the release, D-45 and D-41 were not released, so they are positioned as the highest model after D-28.
Binding is applied not only to the body but also on the neck, featuring a high -quality look unique to the high -end model.

This time, S/N #2288XX was in stock, one in 1967 with specifications such as square rod, maple bridge plate, and globe with "PAT PEND" engraved.
Hakaranda (Brazilian rosewood) is used for the body material.
Since it was changed to East Indian Rosewood in 1969, Hakaranda individuals are overwhelmingly small and rare than the D-18 and D-28, which is much longer than the D-35, and are very valuable. It is an individual.

As a characteristic of the 3-piece back, the bass is reduced compared to the D-28, and a more bright and stretchy tone is obtained. In addition, the characteristics of the only one and only Hakaranda material are added, the separation is good, and the high notes glow and the bulge of sound are increasing.

The D-35 is a model that has also gained high popularity and reputation in the Japanese folk scene in the 70's, and the X-Brassing, which is slightly lower than the D-28, has a good response and rich midfielder. It is said that it contributed to the range. I think that it is a perfect model for play -style musicians because it can handle a well -balanced manner from stroke to finger.

In terms of appearance condition, it is a dignified dignity in which the finely entered weather check creates astringency. The pickguard has progressed and cracks have occurred under the guard, so after the crack is corrected, it is painted and finished with the original coating. Since the lacquer coating on the back of the neck was sticky, paint was repainted in fabric clothes in consideration of playability.

The neck is generally straight, the string height of the 12th fret is about 2.3 mm for 6 strings, about 2.0mm for 1 string, and the saddle height is about 2.0mm to 2.5mm. The fret has a little dent in the low position, but there is no flap or jerk and the performance is good. The slightly thicker neck is reliable, and the midrange core sound is comfortable.
