1969 Martin D-18 - Natural incl. black hardshell case
1969 Martin D-18 in Natural finish. The guitar is in very good condition for its age and all original, except for an added outlet-jack from a former pickups-system. The guitar has been played, so there is plenty of play-wear, the solid spruce-top and the backside are crack-free, there are some repaired cracks on the sides of the body, no refin and no overspray! The frets are in great condition, very good and comfortable playability and the guitar sounds amazing, extremely rich and warm, full and not comparable with a new Martin ! The D-18 is a long time classic since the 30´s and a real workinghorse and 1969 was the last year for Martin to use brazilian rosewood as a fretboard material on their guitars! Comes incl. Cites for the brazilian rosewood fretboard and including black hardshell case w/yellow lining.
