Martin D-28 custom shop model using rare materials for side back!
Martin D-28 CTM VTS (M2) COCOBOLO
This is a model specially ordered by Martin Dealer in 2015, and is a premium made by a custom shop made only by limited skilled craftsmen in Martin.
The cocoboro used for the side back is rosewood native to Central America. It has a heavy and heavy texture, and the bright reddish brown and psychedelic heather is very beautiful and useful as a luxury material. It looks close to Hakaranda, and the swell on the back side is also impactful for this individual.
Despite the normal type of self -back type, the tortoiseshell is adopted as an open -back type peg, and it has a Forward Shifted scalped X -bracing structure, thinking that it is a specification in the late 40s.
Citocasprus is used for the body top, but VTS processing is applied to reproduce vintage -like acoustic characteristics by performing special processing with heat and pressure. The VTS processing stage is M1 and M2, and the M1 is performed closer to a guitar from the 1930s and 1940s. On the other hand, the M2 has been performed closer to a vintage guitar in the 1800 -company founding period. This guitar is M2, and it has changed to dark brown, and you can feel a vintage texture.
While taking a structure aimed at the open sound of Pri Wodiip, the use of a large and moist and low -centered sound of the cocobo, which has a large and low center of gravity, achieves a huge butterfly and high -end high -frequency high range. Although the rampage is suppressed, the rich and deep tone is certainly a vintage -like.
Regarding the neck area, we iron/frets, and coordinates the saddle to use with confidence.
The string height is about 2.6 mm on the 12th fret 6 string side and about 2.3 mm on the first string side.
The performance condition is also good.
The D-28, which uses luxury Kokorobo material, is also rare, so please enjoy this opportunity !!
