1978 Martin HD-28 in excellent condition !
Original Grover tuners
Solid Sitka spruce top with Herringbone top trim
Beautifully figured Indian rosewood back and sides
Zig zag back strip
Has the slightly chunky neck profile of the 70s Martins.
Neck is straight, frets are good. Action is low and comfortable.
Original finish, pickguard and bridge
No repairs noted besides a tiny repaired pickguard crack
Scalloped braces and small maple bridge plate
This is an excellent sounding, nicely aged D-28 with big and bold basses and a lot of power.
Comes with the original black Martin hardshell case.
