Instrument Description:
The classic Dreadnought body shape offers the player a powerful, rich, loud and yet balanced tonal character. That is what you’d expect from a dreadnought guitar,  however this D does not compare to most others as it is constructed out of rather unique tone woods, as you’d expect from an Australian brand such as Maton. The body is constructed out of solid select AAA Victorian Blackwood with a fiddleback-like flame, and it is combined with a solid AAA spruce top, and on the inside you will find Maton’s light X bracing pattern. The neck is also blackwood, featuring an ebony fretboard with a more round 12’’ radius, this and the Maton-signature low set up are guaranteeing a comfortable playing experience. The decorative Art-Deco style headstock features beautiful maple and Gold Grovers with pearloid buttons. Soundwise it is already really impressive for a new guitar, responsive, direct, loud and resonant and the AP5 Pro knows really well how to project that sound when plugged. Comes with a hiscox case and a Custom Shop certificate of authenticity. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
