Here at These Go To 11 we're very happy and excited to introduce to you Mike Bowes aka M.B. Guitars as the latest addition to the family!
With years of experience by working on and studing both the ins and outs of vintage guitars Mike is able to recreate the fine details that are often overlooked by a lot of builders.
By using the same methods as back in the days when creating his guitars, he'll surely deliver a truthful vintage feel and look.
A faithful, handmade reproduction of a 1959 Custom T type.
Two piece Alder body with vintage correct routing, including the router hump by the neck pocket and wire route under the pickguard,
finished in a super thin 100% nitrocellulose lacquer from the wood up in a stunning three tone vintage burst.
Beautiful quarter sawn maple neck which gives extra strength and a clean straight grain, slab vintage reclaimed Indian rosewood board with a 9.5" radius,
correct curved join at the headstock, Jescar 6105 frets, very comfortable vintage C back profile, unbleached bone nut, dark aged clay dots.
Worn in 'greyed' edges and super lovely rolled fingerboard edges... Beautifully smooth and worn in, feels like a vintage instrument.
Aged Gotoh vintage spec machine heads. The best out there!
Neck plate features correct serial number for this year in the correct font.
Fender vintage correct bridge with Callaham stainless steel compensated saddles for better intonation. Comes with the all important and wonderful 'ashtray' cover.
Handwound pickups by Radioshop (Vintage '64 set). Warm and punchy, classic 60's tone.
All the usual vintage correct electric components; CRL 3 way spring loaded switch, CTS True Vintage Taper pots, Luxe wax in paper capacitors, Switchcraft jack, cloth wiring, Electrosocket jack plate.
Pickguard is cut to an original template and made from a real N.O.S nitrate 3 ply material, exactly the same as the orginals.
Slight warping, 30 degree bevel with machine marks, and lightly aged to give that classic grey look, it doesn't get more authentic than that!
Light ageing, with wear and tear in all the right places... Plenty of lacquer checking and a low gloss finish.
Weight is around 7lbs. Set up with Curt Mangan Nickel wound 10-46 strings and supplied with a vintage style leather hardcase by Gator.
This is a very rare and special hand made guitar, feels, looks and sounds beautiful and just like an original.

Delivery terms
We will always try to ship your order within 1 business day from that you've made your order. Usually If you make your order before 12.00 AM GMT+1 we will ship it the same day. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be shipped the next business day. If the order requires more packing concern (guitars or amps) we might need an extra day to ship it.
Please note! Due to an increased volume of orders during particular releases or holidays, the handling of your order may take up to two days. We are doing our best to get all orders out as soon as possible.
During Christmas DHL has a lot of parcels so it might take some extra days for your package to arrive.
Delivery time
- Sweden: 1-3 work days
- Europe: 3-8 work days
- Rest of the world: 5-10 work days
Sweden
We ship all orders within Sweden with DHL service point. You will be able to collect your package at your local DHL service point dealer.
International
All international orders are shipped with DHL parcel connect or express economy select depending on weight. They will deliver the package to the address that you've registred on your profile.
We are not able to deliver to post-office boxes.
Please note that custom and VAT fees may be added when importing goods from the European Union.
You can always track your order on the DHL main site. Notice that the package will be able to track about 24 hours from that your order has been shipped from us.
Unclaimed orders
If DHL can't deliver the package to you we will have to charge you 40 EUR or 50 USD for the shipping and handling back to us. Remember that you always can track your package on the DHL site when we have shipped your order so you can see where it is.
