Mcilroy / A56 Italian Spruce Bubinga / 2012 / Guitar

This McIlroy A56 is a Mini Jumbo or Auditorium model with beautiful Bubinga back and sides. The beautiful grained top is made from rarely seen genuine Italian spruce harvested at Val die Fiemme. A tonewood that gained legendary recognition through Stradivarius who used it for his famous violins. Only the rare Italian spruce from Val die Fiemme, also called moon spruce or Stradivari Spruce, are able to produce an almost piano-like clarity that makes this guitar stand out among others. Bubinga has reddish and bronze-like colors, a bit denser than rosewood, which may contribute to its great sustain and clarity. Provides sustain and note separation with warm even tones, bright midrange, and a sparkle across the entire spectrum. Harder and heavier than both Brazilian and Indian rosewood and contributes to this very refined and almost classic sounding McIlroy A56. Equipped with a multi-layer mahogany/maple/rosewood neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Gotoh 510 tuners with black knobs. Finished with Sycamore bindings and maple, pear and rosewood purfling. In addition, a Paua Abalone rosette with extra rosewood and maple inlay as the finishing touch. The guitar is made in 2012 and at one point the nut has been replaced that left some glue residu on the headstock which resulted in a faded lacquer spot above the nut. Besides this and some small traces on the top, this guitar is still in very good condition. Including the original Hiscox case. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
