We have been fans of the Modulus Bass brand since the early 80’s when they made some cool P Bass style basses w/graphite neck-thru body designs way ahead of any other Bass maker. Modulus’ head guy, Jeff Gould, was also involved w/Alembic’s earliest days before going out on his own. Modulus has grown into their own designs & this Quantum 5 Bass is one of their best ever. Its stunning Honey’burst finish covers its 5A Quilted Maple Top over an Alder body w/a deep Gloss finish. Its gorgeous 35″ Graphite neck has a smooth Phenolic Fingerboard w/perfect spacing to funk. Its loaded w/a pair of Bartolini pickups w/an NTMB Preamp (active treble, mid, bass) making fabulous tones like no other bass can do. Its got all gold parts including its 5 Schaller tuners, 4 knobs & its Hipshot A Style bridge. This Q5 is truly near mint & comes w/its original owners manual in its original molded hard case.
