One HELL of a bass! This pre-Ernie Ball 1978 Music Man Stingray Bass was designed in part by the man himself, Mr. Leo Fender. This is a 9lbs 2oz Maple bodied beauty, with an equally stunning Maple neck and fretboard. This is bass was completed near the end of the string-thru body days and while Leo was still at Music Man, so it's just one of those right time/right place pieces. Easily Music Man's shining accomplishment. The bass is in very good, playable condition. It has some buckle rash on the back and some scuffs and scrapes that actually really compliment the grain! Tone and charm and bite. Couldn't ask for more! Our StingRay comes with a hardshell case.
