Noah Guitars / Noah SLIM / 2020 / Chromed Aluminum Finish / Guitar For Sale
Noah Guitars are unique handcrafted Aluminum Alloy Body Guitars, built by a small and passionate team of Luthiers and Machinists in Italy. Each is meticulously hollowed out, using Noahs preparatory methods, that you can read further about below. This particular instrument has a stunning highly figured 1/4" Sawn Birdseye Maple Neck and a Slim Hollowed out Aluminum body. The pickups in this guitar are "Blues Specials" wound by Lindy Fralin in the United States. These guitars sound as if one took the warm and long sustaining tone of a National Steel Guitar and mixed it with a Tele. They do not sound brittle at all; actually quite the opposite. Great note to note separation with a deep fat twang. If you are looking for a high-end Aluminum Guitar, they don't get much better than this. Unique tone, classic feel and eye catching looks are the name of the game with Noah Guitars.
**You will notice that some of the pictures are of a different guitar of the same series. This is to show the true looks and high-build quality, that is difficult to capture with a standard camera. The guitar you will receive is the one against the brick background. The only differences are the saddles and pickups.**
From Noah Guitars: Since 1996, NOAH Guitars realizes electric guitars and basses in aeronautical aluminium and locates its laboratories in Lambrate, Milan (Italy) enforcing the handmade tradition characterized by passion and technical competence combined with Italian design. The first NOAH guitar was born from the idea to gather the legacy of two “archetypes”: hybridize National Style “O”’s metal body and its acoustic and aesthetic potentialities with Fender Teles unique timbre and its pure and essential design. In no time, the aluminium bass was born too: the meeting with Stefano Cerri and Saturnino Celani allows the development of the most important specifics and to realize NOAH Excalibur, an electric bass guitar with a unique sound.
For more than twenty years now, the two co-founders Renato Ruatti, architect, and Mauro Moia, ex-foreman of an aeronautical industry, have been working together with passion to continue this unique adventure. NOAH Guitars is a project born in the basement, thanks to the moments spent with the friend Giovanni Melis, who deeply desired an “hybrid” guitar; today it stands out among the Milanese artisans recognized as made in Italy excellence. Recently, the team reinforced its competences, officially welcomed Max Pontrelli with role of Master Builder and started an internationalization process, with the yearly participation to important trade shows in the musical field, in Europe and the USA. SLIM Guitar: Born in 1996, NOAH Traditional Series still apply the original recopies conceived by the initial founders. The aluminium body innovation is associated to the more traditional caracterisics of this kind of instrument: controls respect the straight line positions and all pickups are mounted from the front. The bolt-on maple neck respects the old rules too, with a fresh touch of shiny aluminium details and original NOAH headstock design.
