Orville By Gibson / Explorer Korina / 1990 / Korina / Guitar

1990 Orville by Gibson Explorer, korina. Made in Japan, serial number G00600. This guitar was quite a bit modified and represents an excellent bargain if you're looking for a solid bodied Korina wood guitar. The electronics were swapped at one point and Seymour Duncan JB pickups mounted. The tip of the headstock had a crack that was professionally fixed a long time ago (see picture), rock solid and barely noticeable - the Orville by Gibson logo was removed in the process and a few letters in small writing added. There is a similar stess crack in the back of the control cavity, but nothing to worry about. The pickguard and tailpiece also appear to be non original to the guitar, Dunlop straplocks added. This guitar is super loud acoustically and has a very nice big but not fat neck profile. Comes with the original brown tolex hardshell case. Weighs 3.75kg.
