PRS / Private Stock Angelus European Brazilian 30th Anniversary 1/12 / Guitar

Private Stock represents the highest quality of materials, the most personally crafted instruments, and the greatest level of customization available from PRS. In honor of the company's 30th anniversary, PRS has produced a limited run of Angelus guitars with  Brazilian rosewood back and sides and a European Spruce top, especially for the European market and we have managed to secure number 1 of a total of 12 guitars. However, that was in 2015 and it is now 2019. Why did it have to take so long? This guitar was produced in 2015, but sent back to PRS because it had a lacquer issue. PRS has disassembled the guitar and completely rebuilt it. That is why the guitar only became available again later this year. This Private Stock does not use standard Brazilian rosewood, but quarter-sawn Brazilian rosewood, which was used for example for old Martin's in the 1930s. This way of sawing is less efficient but is much more stable and less sensitive to fluctuations in humidity and is actually superior to the flat-cut variant. In addition, it sounds really extraordinarily good. This Angelus has responsive and clear treble, clearly defined layer and a sweet midrange with an impressive sustain. The sound box is paired with a European spruce top and finished with flamed maple binding, abalone trim and rosette. In addition to the back and sides, the fretboard, the headplate and the tuning knobs are also made of Brazilian rosewood, the first of which contains beautiful abalone Birds and border inlays. This PRS is completed by the great gold plated Robson tuners. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
