This is 1 very special 30’s Regal model 27 Resonator guitar that’s been totally modified to a more modern take on its appearance & playability. Its been completely rebuilt into a Florentine Sharp Cutaway 27 & refinished in a lovely dark sunburst finish all over. Its got a beautiful abalone border around its top w/a fabulous star & moon inlaid ebony fingerboard. Its headstock was redone w/a pretty Rosewood overlay sporting a new set of serious Grover Banjo tuners while the addition of “The Regal” tastefully inlaid. Its been made electric having a single Fender Strat pickup added w/volume & tone controls to complete its transformation into a professional user friendly Reso guitar perfect for any gig or any size venue w/little feedback. Its quite a piece of artwork that’s very functional & exciting to own. Its excellent overall & comes in a nice hard case.
