The Rickenbacker 12-string guitar has always been a steadfast factor for any 60’s Rock Music Fans as every band had someone playing one ie George Harrison, Roger McGuinn & Pete Townsend to name a few. Its Firglo finish is stunning showing off its beautifully Maple body front & back also sporting what has become Rickenbacker folk law…that pretty sharp cutaway body “White” bound w/its pearl triangle inlaid fingerboard over a 3-piece Walnut & Maple neck. Its 2 High Gain pickups are powerful w/its intricate 60’s “Ching-Chang” or Rock tones like no other. She’s sporting her original White pickgards w/a matching White Truss Rod Cover. Its Individual Shaller tuners work perfectly. It sports 5 chrome capped Black Vol. & Tone knobs. Its got its original bridge w/chrome cover and cool “R” tailpiece. The serial # “C1” is stamped onto the double “Rick-O-Sound” and “Standard” jack plate being completed in 1988. What makes this example so special is its THE MOST recognized Rick design w/its white body bindings that both Pete Townsend & George Harrison have ever played out live in their earliest days. To own an original mid-60’s 360/12 OS instead of a late model Reissue (which is still a rather expensive guitar today) is simply unimaginable so don’t wait long to grab this 32 year old specimen. She’s Exceptionally Clean overall & completely original. Included is a Gibson square hard case.
