This is an extremely rare & very late production model 1962 Rickenbacker 365F & is 1 of the most radical designed guitars ever produced up until that time. They made only 3 of these 365F’s in 1962 & we currently have 2 of these in stock in our shop & they’re only 6 serial #’s off of each other. Its ultra clean Fireglo finish is absolutely stunning over its incredible checkerboard bound thin body w/a slim neck w/only some play time evident. Its got 2 of their hottest Toaster pickups w/a rare long Ac’cent by Paul Vibrato unit w/its cool crooked trem arm. Its got their signature “Solid Pearl” Triangle inlaid fingerboard on their very flat profiled 3-piece neck. Its pickups are powerful w/its intricate 60’s “Chang” tones like no Strat nor any Les Paul have. She’s sporting her original double stacked Gold Lucite pickgards w/a matching Gold Truss Rod Cover. Its pot codes date to 1961. Its Individual single-line Kluson Deluxe tuners with oval metal buttons are near perfect shape. Its sports 4 perfect replica Cats Eye Volume & Tone knobs & a small black pan knob. This is a highly unusual late model from January 1962 (w/its “AB” serial # date code). All original except for having 1 tiny top side crackle & 1 spot of touched up on its bottom side panel by the strap button from a crackle in the wood. Otherwise its excellent overall & comes in a nice non-original hard case.
