LRB-WK-Roots This is a brand new model. Here we have used the best of the Weisenborn and Konas. It has a seven fret long neck and a 105 mm deep body. This lapsteel sounds big and sweet, with a lot of shimmering overtones. The design is made to fit right in with the root music. Either you play blues, country or just folkmusic music, this guitar will be the right thing.Or if you just sit at home playing by yourself, we promise you will love this instrument.This LRB Weisenborn/Kona slide guitar features a Sapele top, back and sides with beautiful tobacco sunburst and in the end a glossy finish. The neck is sapele mahogany with an ebony fingerboard and the beautiful rosette is made from herringbone.

The best material is needed to build an instrument that is pleasing to the ear, the eyes and the heart.
Slow growing wood that has been cut and dried properly is a basic requirement. Therefore, we personally choose and purchase the material each year from Germany, the United States, England and India.
Michael has learned this from the two masters he studied with, Bozo Padunavac in San Diego in 1982, where he learned to build steel-string guitars and mandolins, and then with Georg Bolin between 1984-1986, where he learned to build classical guitars.
In 1986 Michael received his Journeyman’s Certificate as a qualified builder and in 1996 he got his Master’s Certificate in guitar craftmanship. Sanden Guitars has been a member of the "Guild of American Luthiers" since 1983 and has participated in several conventions over the years.
Since 2010, Sanden Guitars is situated in Gothenburg Sweden.
Michael and Kari together owns and runs Sanden guitars. Right now Michael is doing all the building and Kari helps out where it is needed. Together they do their utmost to take care of you so that you are going to feel safe with your Sanden guitar.
