OOO-12 fret
The OOO-12 fret was the traditional shape of the OM-guitar.
Steelstring-guitars were developed "classic guitars". Usually the
neck to body joint was set at the 12th fret. The playability and
soundrange was not as good as on a modern OOO-guitar set on
the 14th fret. Because the "shoulders of the guitar" were very
high, the body volume was bigger and the volume higher.
The shorter "free-swinging" neck is another reason of the high
volume. Ideal for fingerpicking with high volume and dynamics.
This model comes with a wide neck (46 mm).
Standard measures
- Body depth upper bout: 85 mm
- Body depth lower bout: 105 mm
- Neck width at the nut: 46 mm
- Neck width at 12th fret: 58 mm
- Scale: 645 mm
Our instruments are not build in large series, so we are able to deal with a wide range of options.
In addition we can also realize every players personal specifications.
