Vox AC-30 Combo (1964)
Offered at 2 199 €, this 1964 AC-30 from Vox is presented in very good restored condition, having undergone a comprehensive mechanical and electrical service.
Work carried out includes replacement of electrolytic capacitors, coupling capacitors, output valve sockets, input jacks, and power switch, along with a full retube. An external jack for footswitch use has been added, and the amp is currently set for 245V operation. The Brilliant channel has had its treble cap removed from the volume control.
The cabinet has been retolexed and the original speakers have been reconed, contributing to its refreshed condition and reliable performance.
A well-maintained example of a classic AC-30, offering the characteristic chime, clarity, and dynamic response associated with the model, with practical updates for continued use.
