Washburn / Sammy Hagar Red Rocker RR-100 / 1997 / Trans Red / Guitar

Lee and I have been fans of 'ol Sammy since his Montrose days and when I got my hands on his autobiography, I went through it in one 8- hour sitting. He's just a cool cat and really dishes the dirt on some "you- know- whos" in that book. A great read indeed! This Washburn is a cool, if not oddball guitar. I don't know if they were trying to do a Chet Atkins kind of thing or not, but the Duncan Design HR0101 pickup is a hottie, with plenty of growl and bite. Then there's the Fishman piezo pickup under the bridge and that in itself adds another entire dimension to the guitar. Like I said- cool, but odd. It's in virtually unplayed condition and is an inexpensive must- have for any Hagar fan. If Lee thought it was neat enough to get, then it's neat enough to put in the 'Elk stable. Les Pauls we got, but there's only one Red Rocker here so you guys come on and getcha some Super Sammy while it's hot!
