This four string bass is light, balanced and has a very thin, fast neck, similar to Ibanez instruments. The bass' tone is very fat, defined and versatile with its Rickenbacker humbucker and Jazz bass single coil pickup. The action is very low at .073"on the bass side and .056"on the treble side, making the bass almost effortless to play. High gear-ratio Hipshot Ultralite tuners keep the bass in tune virtually all the time. The strings can be individually top-loaded in the Hipshot TransTone bridge or strung through the body, allowing for slight tonal adjustments and lowering/raising of the tensile feel of each string.
