Around 1965, the development of Yamaha's electric guitar began.

At the time of the late president, "Genichi Kawakami", it is conveyed to make all original electric guitars.

The alleged electric guitar Yamaha SG, which was produced, is a pure -blooded original shape guitar in Japan, which has been released to the present while changing many specifications and diversified models.

This SG1000 was released in 1976 and is a representative model of SG, which is still a loyal user. Direct circuits, etc., which prevent a single sound and a drop in the sound of the sound itself that can obtain a single sound by coil tapping the hambucking pickup, is a function mounted from this SG1000.

SG1000, which has been changed in 1986, is made in 1981, so it is the previous model.

The previous model is equipped with OPG-1 pickup on the three-piece neck of maple/mahogany.

OPG-1 is the first to use AWG# 42 in Japan, which is mounted on the company's SG2000 and is a brass base plate, and AWG# 42, which is also used for vintage pickups for coils.

It is very warm and has a plump low mid.

The plump low mid gives a sound with a thickness like P-90 when switching to a by-sound.
