The Zemaitis Z22QQ is built for comfort and playability. The back of the body is contoured for comfort as is the lower bout for easier access to the higher frets. With a longer 25" Scale and a thin neck profile the guitar is just as at home shredding as it is holding down a smooth groove or even hashing out some country licks. The body and neck are both Eastern Mahogany and the Fretboard is Rosewood with Pearloid Block Inlays and Medium Frets. The pickups are Zemaitis D2 Burst Humbuckers that provide creamy vintage/hot tones. The top is a beautiful Quilted Maple Veneer Top. This guitar is a player with beauty to match.This guitar comes with its original gig bag and certificate of production.  Weighs in at 7lbs 8oz.

My good friend, Gary Winterflood, made the introduction and I soon found myself in Tony Zemaitis’s workshop. It was incredibly small and I didn’t see any electrical tooling. Though he was one of the most skilled luthiers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, I think his Bugatti’s and other classics were his passion (and they were NICE). I found that Tony was very selective when it came to who he would build for. At first, he would not make me any guitars, but... I left with two metal tops that he agreed to part with during my first visit. Over the course of our friendship, he ended up making me five or six guitars. He would include a letter with each of the guitars and I never had them for very long. I am happy to be a part of the Zemaitis family again and carry on the name of a friend and incredible builder.”
