CLASH - Santinista! 1st UK pressing including poster insert. 3LP records set.

It is unplayed with original fold out insert: 'Armagideon Times No 3'
Apparently, it is the very collectible first pressing, with the Track A3 is credited to unknown, indicating 1st press before 'James Booker' credit assigned shortly after.
Also all  the Matrix/Runout numbers are : FSLN-1-D1 D-1 aren’t we all C̶B̶S̶ ̶S̶ ̶6̶6̶3̶6̶3̶.....etc.
However, there is a factory issue on the 3rd side. I am sure that it was caused by the pressing plan during the production. There must be a problem with the external varnish that they applied to the vinyl. I am sure that during the application process some of it skipped into the surface.
I have taken a picture of it, so that you may see it in the next email.
I listened to this side very carefully with my Technics turntable which has a Stanton 881S cartridge. There are just a few ( about 10 seconds ) cracking noises at the very beginning of the first song where there is only talking and not music and then a couple of times at the 5th song.
Really not important. The rest of the side is immaculate and the issue is just aesthetic.
All the rest of the sides are totally unplayed!
Also the "Unknown"  credit appears in two cases in my copy. In the first side and the sixth side as well. This copy is one of the very first pressing!!!

For over 25 years ( From 1980  to 2005) I was records wholesaler and exporter in the UK. Also at the same time I was exclusive international distributor or partner for many independant  labels from Europe and the U.K.

The records that I list for sale are from my personal collection, where most of the time I kept double copies in my archieves. Hence unless otherwise stated these records are in Mint condition and Unplayed!!!

For your true information the records pressed in the U.K. were never  sealed by the wholesalers or the record companies. They  were sealed by the actual shops and not from all of them.

Therefore, when I sell unplayed copies which are not sealed, those have been taken directly from the actual companies and THEY ARE IN FACT BRAND NEW as they were delivered to me that time.

Obviously sometimes if the cover is a bit aged from storage, then I always mention it and classified it accordingly.

No returns.
