Factory Gold Guard History (Documented)

This guitar was born with a Gold Anodized Pickguard, confirmed by the factory 9-hole cavity routing under the current tort guard. The original guard was swapped early in its life with another 1959 tort Guard Jazzmaster.

The story is fully traced:
Originally sold via Gary’s Classic Guitars (USA)
Later through Harry at KMC Musik in Copenhagen. Denmark(who confirmed the pickguard swap by phone).

So the routing is factory, the swap is documented, and the guitar is otherwise completely original.

Condition

This is a true vintage player’s Jazzmaster with heavy, natural wear. If you want a mint collector wallpiece, this isn’t it. If you want the real sound, feel and history of a pre-CBS offset, this is your guitar.
