in these times of confinement I put on sale my magnificent Fender Stratocaster from 1960 3 Tone Sunburst,

The little story of this Stratocaster that I found in the USA a few years ago, is that it was taken over by Guarantee by Fender in 1963.

After expertise by a luthier, it turns out that it was for a problem of attack of wood by a parasite in the cavity of the pots.

Fender has fully treated and refinished it, making it one of the only Fender Stratocasters from 1960 with a magnificent L-series finish.

The sound is fantastic with this woody and unique dynamic of the 1959-1960 slab board series, its SRV, tone to death!

It is playable perfectly despite the original frets, yes the touch has been deepened by the game, or it has the mark of cigarettes on the head and yes the sounds that come out are very subtle and magical.

An exceptional guitar with icing on the cake this magnificent handle 'Bird Eyes' with these little bird eyes, it's very pretty!

Everything has been assessed, informations on request, the neck no longer have the date code following the refinish by Fender in 1963, other points allow to assess such as the position / color of the key marks or the logo which is suddenly a 1963 logo.

The sanding removed the original dated codes, Fender engraved a code on the heel of the sleeve and the body and put the logo of the year of refinement.

Fender also had to redo a pickguard because the location of the screws was different between 1960 and 1963.
