1966 Gibson ES-335 in Cherry for sale.
Up for sale is a very nice 1966 Gibson ES-335 in original cherry finish. This guitar has a lovely vintage feel showing normal finish checking for its age. The tone and playability are exquisite and the two Patent Number Pickups are strong and vital. The neck is a medium profile (not a pencil-neck!), perfectly rounded, straight as an arrow and very easy to play. It has recently been refretted by a professional and trusted luthier who did a wonderful job.
Everything is original with the exception of the missing pickup covers and the case, which is a newer SKB-case. The tuners might have been changed, but they are vintage and period correct, and at some point a previous owner unfortunately decided to inscribe some akward looking numbers inside the f-holes.
A very beautiful and rare guitar at a very reasonable price!
