As you can see in the photos, this is a near mint condition 1956 ES 175 - with only one owner (before me). The wood and the condition of this guitar is exceptional and all the parts are original, include the P90, pots, nuts and knobs. The neck is perfect and straight and the electronics are still in perfect condition so you can plug in and this baby will start singing back to you straight away. The sound from the P90 is classic and instantly recognizable and immediately addictive!
Cosmetically, you would expect a guitar to be well worn, but if you study the photos carefully you will notice the condition of the wood around the sunburst is still in ridiculously good condition. There are absolutely NO breaks, NO repairs and NO racks.
The only blemish is on the back of the neck, where the previous owner formed a nick in the wood, but sanded it back down and gave it a gentle polish so that he could continue to play it. I've attatched a photo of the back of the neck where this spray job occurred; its subtle and only skin deep.
On the whole, she's ready to be played and is a rare beauty. PLUS it comes in it's ORIGINAL CASE!!
