1981 Gibson Flying V Heritage Korina with original case and case candy. Guitar is in near mint condition and sounds & plays fantastic. This guitar is from the very first batch with serial #A94.
One very rarely comes across such beautiful birdseye korina which this one has. This is super rare to see on vintage flying V´s.
This particular Flying V is named "Doris" with pencil under the laquer in the neck pickup cavity. The story goes that this was done by builders on the most beautiful V´s and to date I located "Marylin and Betty" too on flying V´s from 1981/82.
This is without doubt the most beautiful heritage Korina V we have ever come across.
Case is missing plastic handle (see pics) and a little glueing work needs to be done to the storage room in the case. No biggy.
