A monster of a pedal - a genuine Musitronics Mu-tron (From the legendary Musitronics Corporation, this brute was built to withstand everything seventies musicians could throw at it - with a solid aluminium and steel case and chunky rubber control knobs this vintage Made In USA pedal weighs in at over 1.5kg and operates on 240v mains power.
It is in very good cosmetic condition (see photo), and is in perfect working order and more than ready to continue growling and howling for the next 30-40 years. There are a few scuffs and scratches, as you'd expect from a vintage foot pedal that's nearly 40 years old - it has some serious mojo and that's before you even turn it on... Not many of these pedals were made and they are hard to find in the UK/EU.
It sounds huge, fat and quite unlike any other octave pedal we've tried: the Dan Armstrong-designed Green Ringer circuit takes it to another level entirely - sounds great on guitar & bass...
