Odyssey G500 series, top bass model. Fretless (fretless models are, very very rare, one of 9 built in the world). Collectible. Passive bass, sunbust, floating spuce top (floating spruce) Canadian maple back, original Bartolini soupbar pickups, very powerful, extraordinary sound. The bass is in very good condition, completely original (pickup moved). If you know the Odysseys you will know how rare they are, of the G500 series (the top), probably 40/50 were built in total, of which a 9 fretless . This is a beautiful and special rare instrument.
Between 1976 and 1982, Attila Balogh and Odyssey Guitars Limited made approximately 2,000 mysterious and unique bass and guitar instruments in a small factory in Vancouver, BC Most were identified only by a small brass disc on the headstock .
