Gibson / Les Paul R9 BOTB Ltd Edition / 2012 / Lemonburst / Guitar

We don’t normally do R9’s but when we say this one we just knew we had to make an exception... This is a JAW DROPPING and stunning Gibson Les Paul R9 Historic from 2012 - Beauty of the Burst page 165 Limited Edition with it's original hard shell case and COA, documentation etc and has the most stunning, book matched maple top.

It is in totally superb condition and is one of the best R9’s we have come across. Gibson really pulled out the stops on this one to make it as authentic as possible with such features as the long neck tenon, bumble bee caps, vintage style CTS pots etc. This is one of only a handful of guitars Gibson made around 2012 to replicate various bursts from The famous 'Beauty of the Burst' book by Yasuhiko Iwanade and this is the lemon burst one featured on page 165.

It includes all the case candy you can see pictured including the original COA, stickers for the pick guard etc plus the original receipt where you can see it’s origibal list was close to $9k.

It has been played during the last 3 years but it has been well taken care of and it looks nicely played in. The finish has slightly dulled due to playing and looks more VOS rather then gloss which is nice. There are a few, very minor dings and marks here and there and original brown case has a few dings too. There are no nasty scratches, dings or other offensive marks, everything is pretty nice - please see pictures.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a finer one, particularly one that looks so nice in this lemon burst. Guitar is actually a non weight releived body that is surprisingly and pleasently light. I will post the weight very soon!

It plays really well too with virtually no wear at all on the lovely, original frets. Serial number is 9 2093 and this is the same number as on the matching documents.

Very tasty indeed….
