This is a superb circa 2006 Martin Custom Shop 000-40S Mark Knopfler artist signature model + original plush case it is part of a limited run of just 155 instrumentts made to the highest standards and materials, by the Martin Custom Shop in 2006 and 2007 and is an absolute bargain for wat is a sought after Custom Shop model that is rare to find.
It is in superb condition, the bridge was starting to lift so this has been reglued back to the original position and there is a cople of surfacr cracks o the top below the bridge but these have been examined with a mirror and have not gone through the wood. There are also a few smaller lacquer checks by one end of the bridge (see pics) None of these you notice until you are real close and of course, do not affect the amazing sound this rare Martin produces.

Highlights of the construction include Italian Spruce top with Madagascar Rosewwod back and sides, Sitka Spruce scallaped X bracing with ebaony fingerboard/bridge, vintage style snowflake inlays and herringbone trim - all the very cool stuff everyone wants on a Martin basically!
Please have a good look at the photos, you can see clearly the condition of this and just to assure you, it does play amazingly well with a very rich and balanced tone. Rare to see one like this in the UK, especially one with such a nice discount!
