frequencycentral amplifiers and effects are designed and handbuilt by Rick Holt - keyboard player, guitarist, producer. Having a solid grounding in modular synthesiser design and production, Rick is now specialising in guitar amplifiers and effects utilising submini vacuum tubes, which were originally produced for guidance systems in ballistic missiles! Their small size means that they are perfect for guitar pedals, which providing the same sonic potential one would expect from conventional tubes.
