Attractive early postwar model in almost completely original condition: except the upper side (bass side) which we replaced in our workshop about 25 years back after side damage. The repair is hardly noticeable, just the slightly different wood grain, type and color are a perfect match to the treble side and to the back. Refret at the same time and some top hairlines glued with hide glue also in our shop. Otherwise completely original including perfect bridge, tuners, pickguard … Low and comfortable action with perfect height bridge saddle. HC. On consignment.
Sehr attraktive Gitarre in fast vollständig originalem Zustand – bis auf die linke Zarge, die wir in unserer Werkstatt vor ca. 25 Jahren infolge Beschädigung komplett ersetzt haben. Die Reparatur ist kaum wahrnehmbar bis auf die etwas unterschiedliche Holzstruktur, die sich insgesamt aber sehr gut einfügt. Etwas ältere Neubundierung und einige Haarrisse der Decke geleimt. Alles andere ist original inklusive Steg, Mechaniken, Schlagbrett usw.. Flache und komfortable Saitenlage, perfekte Höhe der Stegeinlage. Hc. Im Kundenauftrag.

Through building their own guitars in the style of traditional American steel string guitars and through specializing in the restoration and repair of American pre-war instruments, they realized how similar these guitars were to the traditional German guitars in construction and materials.
Their new Tuebingen workshop opened in 1996. As aficionados of old American guitars, they have been creating many replicas of these wonderful instruments, authentic not only in their looks, but also in design and construction.
In addition to that, Blazer & Henkes are also specialists for the creation of modern guitar design, delicate pearl inlays as well as for restoration and repair work of vintage guitars.
