Tech notes

- This is a 1999 Martin HD-28 V Vintage series + best quality TKL hard case (original)

- Serial number 68xxx6 dates her to 1999

- Overall very good and shiny to look at with nothing that stands out, closer inspection reveals some cosmetic retouches that blend in very well, photographed in the oblique light so you can judge for yourselves

- The tone is superb and piano like with the scalloped bracing and highest grade tone woods.

- Action low, nice to play, adjustment room is there for future

- Nickel endpin jack fitted, there is no pickup fitted

Repair history

- Some repair cleats can be seen inside the guitar on lower bout side and top.

- The cleats secure three crack repairs, one across the endpin and two near the endpin on the top, any traces of this are only visible upon close to very close inspection on the exterior of the guitar as pictured.

- There are a small amount of drop-filled dings on guitar top, these are very well done and only show on very close inspection in flat light as pictured

- Short hairline only just visible on treble side and slightly more visible on bass side of fretboard near nut as pictured, this has been sealed

- The overall look and appearance is excellent for age with light wear and occasional tiny dings only

- Saddle looks to have been glued in

- End block has had a reinforcement within the guitar for extra security
