Epiphone / Coronet / 1965 / Cherry / Guitar For Sale

Now available, an early 1965 Epiphone Coronet in its original cherry finish!

This guitar basically represents the 'junior' of the Kalamazoo made solid-body Epiphone line-up, featuring the later the 6 inline tuner headstock, and 1&9/16" nut width.

It remains in decent shape with a few things to note:

  • The headstock has had a crack at some point that has been professionally repaired and is rock solid.
  • The vibrato unit has been taken off, not included.
  • A small repaired chip by the 11th fret.

The guitar retains most of its original parts including the compensated wrap-around tailpiece, and Kluson deluxe tuners. The original dogear p90 is strong, with all of the electronics being fully functional and remaining untouched. The neck is straight, with the guitar having a low easy playing action despite some wear to the original frets.

A great playing example of an early Epiphone Coronet, includes a hardcase.
