Fender / Jaguar / 1964 / Olympic White / Guitar For Sale
Now available on consignment, a 1964 Fender Jaguar that has been refinished in Olympic White.
This is an older refinish, with both the body and neck having been fully refinished including the back of the neck and front of the headstock with a new decal applied. Luckily it retains pretty much all of its original parts including both black bottom pickups which are strong, and all of the electronics.
Work to the guitar includes:
- Other tuners were fitted at some point, replica single line klusons are currently installed.
- A medium jumbo re-fret has been performed (some wear but they play well) at some point, and a new nut installed.
Otherwise this guitar retains its original 3ply tortoiseshell pickguard, and the rest of the plastics remain original minus the tremolo arm tip. The original 1meg pots date to the 21st week of '64, and most of the hardware remains including the original bridge and saddles.
A great feeling and sounding pre-CBS Jaguar, includes its original hardcase.
