1968 Fender Precision Bass in Sunburst in overall very good condition, serial number 231xxx, with original hardshell Fender case. Well - this is the one that the custom shop BASES its 'relic' design after. Genuine 1968 Pbass in a wonderful broken in 'player' vibe - all original with the exception of a newer nut, and a replaced pickup (not sure of the make or origin, no markings). Some folks love the super clean and shiny old guitars and basses, and others look for the ones that have been PLAYED. This is one of those. Lots and lots of wear - honest wear - tons of vibe, a wonderful player. As you know, some of those 60s Fender basses were shot in white, and then the sunburst over top - this is one of those - very cool. The white can be seen clearly on the worn areas of the bass. Lots of great checking to this Sunburst finish, too - a true road warrior. Great B neck carve, original tuners, original tortoise guard.
