Hard to go wrong with an early 60’s Strat…
This guitar is in great condition. The refinish may not be quite accurate but it's been done very well. There is some slight wear and checking but nothing extensive.
The neck too has been refinished and the frets have plenty of life left. The fretboard is in great shape.
The hardware is all correct, with some corrosion on the saddles and tuners.
The plastics are a mix of reproduction and correct parts. The pickguard is a recent example; the original (included in the sale) was modified to accept a second three way switch. The backplate is a repro item too.
Electronically the pickups are correct as are the pots. There is sign of solder joints being reheated and some minor changes as you'd expect for a refinish.
The guitar comes with a hardshell case.
This guitar does what you'd expect an early 60's Strat to do. The pickups provide a warm tone across all three positions that run the gamut from full to cutting without getting thin.
