1974 Fender Stratocaster - Black
Clean 1974 Fender Stratocaster in custom color Black in excellent condition. It's got some wear, especially on the back but it's still pretty clean. The guitar is all original with untouched solder joints! Two of the three pots are dated to 1975 so it seems like the guitar was completed in 1975 but still has all 1974 specs. The serial number is 1974, all three staggered pole-piece "grey bottom" singlecoil pickups are dated 1974 and the neck stamp dates to 1974 as well. It's got an ash body which has a good weight for this period with 3,76kg. The pickups have outputs of 5,21K (N), 5,19K (M) and 5,29K (B). Nice looking and very resonant and lively guitar, sounds and feels great. The neck is really nice too, round profile and smooth feel - maybe one of the very last ones with the pre-75 specs! Incl. black tolex Fender Custom Shop case.
