The above instrument was owned and used by Ellis for both live, touring and recording purposes in the Swinging Blue Jeans and can be seen in various printed and published media including various single and album covers pictured within the listing
THE BEATLE CONNECTION
The above starocaster was purchased brand new from the historic RUSHWORTHS music Store in Liverpool which was often frequented by The Beatles (See pic of The Beatles purchasing their new J160E Guitars). Although no photographic evidence exists this instrument rumoured to be handed to Ralph Ellis by John Lennon in the store as they joined the list of the stores famous customers
