This rare vintage Gibson guitar was Gibson's first flat-top acoustic with a cutaway. Full of history, dripping with character and glowing with that unmistakenly mid-'50ies warmth no modern guitar can fake.
Features :
Serial number on the neck block starts with a V, dating the guitar to 1956
Vintage style single line Kluson Deluxe tuners
Smooth comfortable mahogany neck with RW fretboard with crown inlays
Action is comfortable, no need for neck reset
Original finish, except on the back and sides.
Solid sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides
Back and side cracks that have been professionally treated (with cleats)
Original tortoise pickguard
Original RW bridge, which has been reglued. The saddle has quite some room to be lowered if desired in the future
Comes with a newer hard shell case
