"LEGEND" is an advanced series that was born in 2006 and is a special product that reprinted the initial Gibson's masterpiece. This instrument is a model that faithfully reproduces the 1937 L-00, owned by Country Musician Lee Roy Bernel, by Gibson Custom Shop.
The first thing that catches the banner head and the fire stripes pattern pickguard? The banner logo of "ONLY A GIBSON IS GOOD ENOUGH" and the Priwar Skryy Troogo have a Prievar -peculiar fir striped pattern pickguard. Azido -processed triple open back pegs are also cool. Adirondak Red Spruce is used for the top material, and of course it is scalped X bracing specification. Good materials carefully selected for body materials and necks, fingerboard & amp; bridge material, etc. are also used. And the neck! The grip feeling of the thick and thick V -shaped, similar to the Priwar period, is strong. In addition, the hard case comes with a buckle bracket similar to that of the time and a special product that uses an outer & amp; inner.
The thick sound with a core in the mid -low range is impressive, and the high -pitched glow is modest, and you can feel good balance from bass to high notes. I felt that the thick neck was very effective for the crisp attack feeling. The light response unique to a small body is also pleasant.
The string height of the 12th fret is about 2.6 mm under 6 strings and about 1.9mm under the first string. The rest of the long saddle is nearly 5mm at the highest place, and the condition such as fret, neck, truss rod, etc. is good. Play on the top, scratches, scratches, buckle scratches, head scratches, some other aging and usability, but there is no problem with playability.
Honestly, I think the tastes are different (I like: D), but those who are looking for a vintage -like and high -quality one are a must -see!
