This is a 2008 Gibson Les Paul R8 50th Anniversary Reissue in Cherry Sunburst, serial # 88424, with Certificate of Authenticity and original hardshell case. These R8s cease to amaze us time and time again. Given it's aged appearance the guitar does have two small divots on the backside upper bout that penetrate the finish; you can see them in the photos provided. Play-ability is second to none as it was recently setup by our resident tech. The bumblebee caps add so much to the tonality it could easily send a shiver down your spine. Weighs a fine fettle of 9 lbs.
