This is the very late & exceedingly rare example of Gibson’s stunning 1958 ES-140 3/4TN in all its Blonde glory ! So few of these were made & none ever come up for sale. Its see-thru finish shows off its beautiful maple top, back & sides. Its 1 piece mahogany neck is the perfect shape & size for a 3/4 guitar from this period. It has a dot inlaid rosewood fingerboard. She still sports all her original stuff from its black P-90 pickup to its 3-in-line Kluson tuners to its trapeze tailpiece to its tortoise’gard & to its early Gold Saucer knobs, she’s 100% original. What makes this one so rare & desirable is that its a genuine thin bodied 140 w/its name double ink stamped in its bass F-hole & has a body code starting w/a “T” for 1958. She’s absolutely an exceptional opportunity to own a 1-of-a-kind Near Mint Museum Quality example having no weather checking nor any consequential wear at all. She comes equipped w/a period tooled leather engraved cowboy strap in its nice original brown tolex/pink lined hard case.
