Gibson / ES-355 Factory Stop / 1959 / Red / Guitar

**HOLD*Finding a '59 ES-355 with a factory stop tail is about as rare as it gets. I know of two other 59's, 2 60's and a 63. That's it. There are probably a few more out there under the bed but if you've been looking for one, you know hard they are to find. Most 355 stops you see have been converted from a Bigsby (look for the holes by the end pin). Not this one. Factory stop tail. No doubt about it. Two excellent PAFs (8.53 and 7.74K) with full stickers and sealed covers. This is a no issue guitar with that gorgeous watermelon fade and some amazing flame on the back and birdseye on the front. Factory headstock stinger too. It has some fairly minor player wear and moderate fine checking but it's all original. It plays great but should eventually have a fret job-the frets are original and the lower ones are worn but very playable. The upper frets look like the last owner never played past the 7th fret. Original stereo circuit with a great functional Varitone. Original brown case with Lifton badge in good condition. This is a once in a lifetime guitar.
