Gibson / LES PAUL CUSTOM / 1978 / Black Finish / Guitar For Sale

This is one of those Les Paul Custom’s that all of the guys that hated them then will luv this one now. Its original Black finish is in stunning unmolested shape other than having a deep weathercheck on the left side of the 3 piece maple top lamination. Its a very rare special example w/an original white bound/block inlaid Maple fingerboard on a 1 piece neck w/a volute & 1 piece body. Its loaded w/a pair of factory pat.# stamped & dated Humbuckers, It original cavity is date stamped September 25th,1978 & she has her original pots dated the 30th week of 1978. Its all gold hardware is faded just a bit as expected. It’s till sporting its original Gibson tuners. This is a great guitar for that guy that wants to enjoy it for the next 50 years ! Other than some button worming in the back finish & that top flaw, she’s still rather exceptionally clean. She’s all original & comes w/its edgy original molded black hard case.
